A very scarce ex-library 1st edition dating from 1978, here in VG condition and within a pictorial wrapper. The usual libray stamp on the title page verso (why do they do that?). 200 pages, with b & w photographs. Stolle set off in 1959 to cycle round the world - he came back in 1976! Financing himself by giving slide shows and talks about his travels, his jouneys took him from Tierra del Fuego to Iceland, New Zealand to Canada, and almost everywhere else in between as well! Certainly one of the longest tours that I've heard of - and on a sit-up-and-beg bike as well, with a sprung saddle! Rare to be in stock, and worth noting that non-library copies are twice the price of this one!
