A rare hardback 1st edition dating from 1992, here in Fine condition and within a pictorial jacket. Large format (12" x 9") so heavy to post. 176 pages, with a previous owner's neat bookplate on the cover verso. Impossible to win both the Tour and the Giro in the same year? Well, Miguel Indurain did win them both, and Claudio Chiappucci was runner up in both - which might prove that with the right preparation anything is possible! There is a huge amount of detail and interest in this book, all complemented by the beautiful photography - we have Indurain and Bugno on the cover, and everyone else who is anyone on a bike somewhere inside!
