A very scarce 1st edition dating from 1944, still in VG condition - the only fault a diagonal cut on the fep. Yellow boards, no wrapper as published. 89 pages plus a map to the rear. Oh, those were the days - touring with a tandem and sidecar - no traffic - b & b was 2/6d - and a pint of 'Old Sheep Dip' by Windemere was 2d. Part travelogue, part cycle tour, but great fun whatever. The cover is a plain one, so I've put up a nice picture of Shap in winter for your entertainment! Enjoy!
