About Us

Between us all we have been bike riders for over 80 years now, and we are long-term tourists - with a few End-to-Ends to our name, as well as extensive tours in France and Germany to compliment the rides within the UK. We were never fast enough for racing or time-trialling, and liked our sleep to much for Audax rides, but we have regular contacts in these areas.

We are experts on Bed & Breakfast establishments nationwide (see the picture!) and also in France. We camp as well, and can often point people to good campsites, both in the UK and in France.

We also have a Mountain Biker, who also used to do mad things like rock climbing and potholing (I stuck to the safer sports like rugby!).

As well as running other businesses we have been selling books for over 30 years now, and we always try and be very honest with our book descriptions, and we never look to make a profit from our postal charges (unlike some that we could name!).

We can get for you almost any book that is in print - not just cycling books - and can often find rare and obscure books that have been out of print for ages (it's inevitable that we have lots of contacts within the book Trade).
